Cate is a songwriter who grew up in Dubai with an international background. She now resides in Asia. She started writing at the age of 12.
Her passion in life beside music is photography, travelling to different countries, meeting new people and understanding cultures from all walks of life. She loves adventure, to learn and experience the challenges that life offers. Her travelling, family influence to music, friends and loved ones also gives added inspiration to her music.
Her musical journey began to materialize and come to life when she wrote her latest song, 'CHARLIE'. The week after she bought her first guitar, now coordinating with"Mike Barry" who's been a singer/guitarist for over 30 years. Mike was involved in performing & recording with The Vibratones (during 1960s). .
Cate took this decision which she never looked back on. It has been an exciting journey ever-since then.
She wants her songs to relate to people' experience and for listeners to eventually appreciate it's true meaning and values. Music to her is a part of life that screams all sorts of feelings, out in the open space. Her words and imagination have no boundaries which provides freedom and self-fulfillment in life.

She loves Rock & Roll mainly because its 'Sensual', Soulful and it has this energy and vibes without borderline! It's carefree that combines very powerfull vibration similar to sexual attraction. As quoted by Cate, "It's magnetic and wild!" Among the bands she loves listening to are 'Creed', 'Hinder', Cold Play, Nickleback to name but a few... Apart from Rock and Roll, she has a soft side for love songs, Pop, R&B, Country&Western, Jazz and any music that is 'catchy' after all that is what lyric writing is all about.
