This is an imaginary story of a man with deep regrets in his life after a horrible car accident that cost his girlfriend's life. I believe that we can find inspiration everywhere, not just through personal experience. It could be on people's daily conversation, words that we see, books that we read and music that we listen to.

Hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as I enjoyed writing it. Cate

Will

Will she be waiting ©

I woke up with massive pain

My shirt is covered with blood stain

I remember being in the freeway

When I lost control of the car today

They said it was too late to save you

But I still refuse to believe it’s true

Chorus * *

Will I make it to heaven?

I'm no longer frightened

I’ve been living with my eyes shut

Hoping I'll be in heaven

Will she be waiting?

If I get to heaven

I can’t believe who I used to be

Why is this happening to me?

I’ve resign to bad habits

And wake with the weakest kind

Each day always seems to rewind

Why can’t this life, just be kind.

Chorus * *

Will I make it to heaven?

I'm no longer frightened

I’ve been living with my eyes shut

Hoping I'll be in heaven

Will she be waiting?

If I get to heaven

V3

I should have stayed sober

And treated you better

Your memories keep me alive

When I need to survive

If you were here today

I promise to change my way

Bridge

If I could back track the time

I would kneel for forgiveness

If only I see your face again

I'll be rid of this guilt and sadness

Baby, it's all my fault back then

It should have been my time, instead of yours

Chorus * *

Will I make it to heaven?

I'm no longer frightened

I’ve been living with my eyes shut

Hoping I'll be in heaven

Will she be waiting?

If I get to heaven

Will she be waiting …

Oh will she be waiting, If I get to heaven
